CryoLife, Inc. currently has opportunities for a Product Manager - Cardiac Tissue in our corporate office in Kennesaw (NW Atlanta).
Founded in 1984, CryoLife, Inc. was the first biomedical company to commercially develop low temperature preservation of human tissues for implant. With the founding of CryoLife, preserved human tissue became available for cardiac and vascular surgeries. The Company's proprietary processes for preserving human heart valves, veins and connective tissue have dramatically improved and enhanced the lives of tens of thousands of patients.
OBJECTIVE: Develop and implement cardiac tissue marketing plans. Provide leadership on all cardiac tissue program initiatives and launches. Provide tactical and strategic insight on future cardiac tissue opportunities. Provide leadership to cardiac tissue procurement, processing, and project teams, as well as the U.S. sales team on all cardiac-related topics.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Development and implementation of marketing plans for cardiac tissue products. Coordinate with cardiovascular sales management and field staff to ensure appropriate sales tools, educational communications, and technical memos are developed to support cardiac tissue product line. Coordinate and provide marketing support for regional and global sales meetings. Ensure all applicable sales and marketing training is fully developed and appropriately presented on cardiac tissue. Coordinate with Donor Services staff and sales management to maximize interactions between supply and demand components of cardiac tissue business. Interface with Clinical Research, Research and Development, Operations and Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance departments to provide marketing guidance for cardiac tissue initiatives. Gather appropriate market research to understand customer needs, product positioning and pricing for these new technologies. Provide critical thinking on cardiac tissue opportunities and communicate to senior management. Drive and manage interactions with Clinical Research, Research and Development, and Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance to support cardiac tissue based business needs. nsure adequate peer reviewed papers are written and presentations given on cardiac tissue to drive business.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree Marketing experience (2-3 years) preferably in medical devices Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong organization skills Good leadership skills Ability to travel up to 50% Desire to assume increasing level of responsibility
HOURS: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
