Sr. Firmware Development Lead/Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will lead/manage a collaborative team developing embedded firmware and software for our next generation storage ASICs. The ideal candidate will a minimum of 10 years of software/firmware development experience and will have a proven track record as a leader guiding teams to deliver products. You will possess excellent organizational and communication skills and have experience working with and leading remote teams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Technical leadership/management experience for embedded HW/SW products.
  • Expert-level knowledge of C programming.
  • Track record of successful delivery and development of embedded systems products.
  • Excellent understanding of SW/FW development processes
  • Self motivated and able to contribute to a fast past, rapidly evolving program
  • BSCS/EE
  • 10+ years of software/firmware system development/leadership experience.
  • Experience with or knowledge of storage protocols such as FC/iSCSI/SAS/SATA/SCSI and thorough knowledge of PCIe interface.
  • 3+ years in a technical leadership or management position.



DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Direct experience delivering storage technologies
  • Embedded OS, I/O drivers, and platform development
  • Knowledge of MIPS 34K architecture.
  • Experience with ThreadX RTOS or multiple other RTOS implementations.
