Senior Sales Executive, IT Outsourcing (ITO)

Position Summary



This position is based on the West Coast ideally S. California market Virtually


 


The Senior Sales Executive, ITO reports to the Vice President Sales, Healthcare ITO and is responsible for new logo sales (geographic and vertical).  This person will closely collaborate with other Sales Executives, Solutions Architecture, and the Business Development team for pre-sales support and marketplace development activities.  The Senior Sales Executive, ITO is a leader who will embody the burning desire to succeed.


 


Duties and Responsibilities


 



  • Identify, negotiate and close accounts

  • Utilize pharmaceutical or healthcare payor industry knowledge and contacts to bring business to ACS

  • Strong knowledge of the Outsourcing sales process along with demonstrated experience driving deals from initial contact through contract signing

  • Experience working with advisory firms and sole sourcing for new business

  • Manage detailed reports & analysis that guide the sales process

  • Review sales contracts to ensure they reflect the interests of the company

  • Strategize to drive our ITO business into a dominant leader in the industry

  • Engage product marketing and solutions expertise to refine service offerings for specific market segments

  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with clients and contacts

  • Cross-sell and collaborate on multi-tower opportunities

  • Recommend and initiate enhancements to the sales and marketing operation.  Establish goals, analyze growth and provide accurate, complete, and timely submission of required progress reports, forecast, quotations, budgets, and rates

  • Protect the interests of the Company in accordance with legal requirements and governmental guidelines

  • Communicate accurate sales forecasts and develop and deploy prospect strategies


 


Education and Experience



  • Extensive experience selling across the pharmaceutical or healthcare payor industry.  Deep pharma or healthcare payor industry knowledge and ability to maneuver within this space.

  • 10+ years of proven large-scale sales experience and track record, preferable with Fortune 500 companies that offer multiple ITO services/solutions

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and working in an IT Outsourcing sales environment with significant experience prospecting and landing new clients

  • ITO Sales experience offering solutions across multiple verticals is preferred (i.e., CPG, healthcare, financial services, transportation, retail, Information Technology, government, Insurance, Teleservices)

  • Five plus years global outsourcing solution sales experience to include but not limited to:  Applications & Software Solutions, Information Systems/Data Center Outsourcing, Disaster Recovery, End-User Computing, Help Desk/Desktop Management Services, Enterprise Solution Management, Systems Integration Services, Network Management, Security Services, Storage Solutions, Technology Review, Assessment and Planning, Transition Services, Hardware/Software Procurement, Mainframes, Midranges, Client/Server, Imaging, Scanning, Training, Managed hosting

  • Experience in development, negotiation and administration of contracts

  • Ability to manage lengthy sales cycles

  • Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills

  • Demonstrated leadership ability
