- Develops provider recruitment strategies including, but not limited to, provider value-proposition, strategic positioning and recruitment execution strategy
- Develops the private practice provider network yielding a geographically competitive, broad access, stable network that achieves financial objectives
- Evaluates and negotiates contracts in compliance with company contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls
- Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with providers, and ensures the network composition includes an appropriate hybrid distribution of independent and retail providers
- Maintains oversight for the management of new provider application processing including initial mailing, review, and loading into the system; ensuring high quality standards are maintained.
- Facilitates provider on-boarding experience in conjunction with Provider Operations and Relations teams.
- Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of professional staff
- Executes functional objectives specific to private practice network development
Directs others to resolve complex business issues that affect private practice network development function

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in a optical industry or managed healthcare environment
- Proven contract negotiation skills/experience with managed healthcare providers
- Ability to present data in a concise manner to multiple internal and external business partners�Proficient user of MS Excel and MS Access
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
