Job Description

The software qualification of new features and functionalities of leading edge FCoE, Ethernet and other storage/network protocol testing. An opportunity to apply scripting and other tools to the automation of product qualification tests.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Test plan and Test design preparation through review of engineering level documents, execution of test cases through the product release phases, and ownership of test networks/fabrics and configurations.
• Will work with other test engineers and developers as we progress through project phases.




Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• MSEE/CE or equivalent work experience.
• 2 - 5 years hands-on test experiences on Ethernet and IP network systems.
• Strong working experience in Linux, Solaris, Window OS system environment.
• Strong knowledge and working experience in Ethernet networking protocols.
• Familiar with SQA test process, regression test, Ethernet test equipment.
• Have required technical debug skill to analyze the defect root of cause, optimize the test configuration for feature test,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skill, and good team player
• Comfortable with technical and business English usage ( documents reading, e-mails, conference calls )

Physical requirements

• Frequent use of mouse and keyboard
• Frequent phone usage
• Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
