Job Responsibilities:
Supervising engineering activities to support the overall business unit goals as well as departmental objectives, and including leading continuous improvement efforts that include Value Analysis, cost reduction and manufacturing improvements, new product development projects, initiating training opportunities, and promoting and applying technology advances that contribute to meeting business unit goals.
Required Background:
- Five plus years experience in an engineering management position supporting manufacturing in the fields of metal forming, plasma cutting, or related capital equipment manufacturing sector that provides equipment to the HVAC industry.
- Successful background of management of direct reports.
- Best practices training background.
Education:
Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering required from accredited university and on-line degrees not acceptable. Advanced degree a plus.
