Account Resolution Specialists

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Local medical receivables company has an opening for a full time Account Resolution Specialist.

Background in medical claims billing (follow-up/account resolution) is preferred, looking for applicants with experience with all payers (Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid included). We are seeking candidates with a background with Ohio BWC, specifically filing first reports of injury. Other duties will be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma is required
• Experience with Excel is required
• Experience in medical billing field (hospital claims experience is preferred)
• Experience with following up on insurance denials and appeal protocols
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD9 & CPT coding
• Experience with Medicaid claims is helpful
