Business Systems Analyst II – Sales Operations

Natick , MA

In this role you will support the Sales and Marketing reporting functions globally! We are seeking a driven business analyst to support sales operations at Boston Scientific.

Responsibilities:


  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • Lead and facilitate in identifying areas for process improvement and establishing effective and efficient processes
  • Lead and facilitate the definition and documentation of detailed business requirements for project requests
  • Work with the business, the development and the quality assurance team members to ensure requirements are complete and understood
  • Participate in application design and prototype reviews
    Create procedural documentation such as process flow diagrams, user guides, job aids, and any other reference materials to support training execution
  • Drive the testing and implementation of business applications by defining the Information System test plan and coordinating project resources, objectives and environments.
  • Provide ongoing user assistance and communication to support business applications
  • Prepare and present reports and status information to management and business partners
    Perform cross-functional impact assessments of requested system and process changes
  • Participate in cross-functional Information System initiatives
  • Manage the system change request process
  • Prepare and deliver training materials for business applications as needed
  • Partner with or lead internal and external technical resources
  • Participate in the vendor selection and assessment process
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with external business partners
  • Consistently follow a defined system development life cycle methodology
  • Provides expertise with developing solutions that will meet all the business and organizational needs.
  • Act as a conduit for questions and issues between IS and business.
    Provide user assistance and application support as needed.
  • Assist with the production of training materials (e.g., handouts, CD’s, etc.).
  • Deliver training and maintain attendance records.




Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2-5 years of business analyst experience
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, as well as the specific requirements for maintaining systems in a regulated environment
  • Mobile Application experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience facilitating the gathering and documenting of business requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self starter with strong, proactive work ethic
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment
  • Demonstrate success supporting multiple simultaneous projects
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project
