Business Systems Analyst II – Sales Operations Natick , MA
In this role you will support the Sales and Marketing reporting functions globally! We are seeking a driven business analyst to support sales operations at Boston Scientific.
Responsibilities:
- Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
- Lead and facilitate in identifying areas for process improvement and establishing effective and efficient processes
- Lead and facilitate the definition and documentation of detailed business requirements for project requests
- Work with the business, the development and the quality assurance team members to ensure requirements are complete and understood
- Participate in application design and prototype reviews
Create procedural documentation such as process flow diagrams, user guides, job aids, and any other reference materials to support training execution - Drive the testing and implementation of business applications by defining the Information System test plan and coordinating project resources, objectives and environments.
- Provide ongoing user assistance and communication to support business applications
- Prepare and present reports and status information to management and business partners
Perform cross-functional impact assessments of requested system and process changes - Participate in cross-functional Information System initiatives
- Manage the system change request process
- Prepare and deliver training materials for business applications as needed
- Partner with or lead internal and external technical resources
- Participate in the vendor selection and assessment process
- Maintain ongoing relationships with external business partners
- Consistently follow a defined system development life cycle methodology
- Provides expertise with developing solutions that will meet all the business and organizational needs.
- Act as a conduit for questions and issues between IS and business.
Provide user assistance and application support as needed. - Assist with the production of training materials (e.g., handouts, CD’s, etc.).
- Deliver training and maintain attendance records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2-5 years of business analyst experience
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, as well as the specific requirements for maintaining systems in a regulated environment
- Mobile Application experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience facilitating the gathering and documenting of business requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Self starter with strong, proactive work ethic
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment
- Demonstrate success supporting multiple simultaneous projects
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project
