Senior Director of Information Technologies: Olive Crest

REPORTS TO: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

CLASSIFICATION: EXEMPT

POSITIONS UNDER DIRECT SUPERVISION: Director of IT, Applications Business Analyst, and IT Project Manager.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. IT strategy definition, planning, execution and governance
2. Develop and maintain company-wide IT policies and procedures
3. Technical Council Chairmanship, coordinating with program and regional leadership to meet their IT needs
4. Own, maintain, and execute to the IT Strategic Plan
5. Vendor management (includes administration of licensing agreements and support contracts as well as coordination of contractors and subcontractors for IT related projects)
6. Line management (IT Core Team)
7. Serve on Technical Advisory Committee for E-Rate
8. IT Financial Management (Budgeting, Accounting , Chargeback/Allocation)
9. Maintain availability to handle crisis situations that may arise during working and non-working (on-call) hours
10. Adhere to agency policies and procedures

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum five years experience in an IT or technology related leadership role
2. Minimum ten years progressive experience in IT
3. Minimum three years managing IT related projects
4. Ability to self-motivate and self-direct
5. Strong ability to attract talent, coach, lead and develop staff
6. Experience developing IT related business cases and evaluation/selection of new technology solutions
7. Experience managing internal IT budgets, accounting, and allocations or charge-backs
8. Experience establishing and enforcing service level agreements, developing policies and gaining consensus in a multi-vendor environment
9. Experience establishing and managing sourcing relationships
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
11. Record free of criminal convictions (Required).
12. Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record as determined by Olive Crest’s insurance carrier.

14. A management philosophy that respects the intrinsic value of people and seeks to maximize their potential in the work place.
15. Leadership experience in the charitable non-profit sector
16. Previous experience as an IT Director
17. Understanding and experience with business applications unique to charitable non-profits and fund-raising
18. Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, information technology management, or similar
19. Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
20. IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification
