REPORTS TO: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
CLASSIFICATION: EXEMPT
POSITIONS UNDER DIRECT SUPERVISION: Director of IT, Applications Business Analyst, and IT Project Manager.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- IT strategy definition, planning, execution and governance
- Develop and maintain company-wide IT policies and procedures
- Technical Council Chairmanship, coordinating with program and regional leadership to meet their IT needs
- Own, maintain, and execute to the IT Strategic Plan
- Vendor management (includes administration of licensing agreements and support contracts as well as coordination of contractors and subcontractors for IT related projects)
- Line management (IT Core Team)
- Serve on Technical Advisory Committee for E-Rate
- IT Financial Management (Budgeting, Accounting , Chargeback/Allocation)
- Maintain availability to handle crisis situations that may arise during working and non-working (on-call) hours
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum five years experience in an IT or technology related leadership role
- Minimum ten years progressive experience in IT
- Minimum three years managing IT related projects
- Ability to self-motivate and self-direct
- Strong ability to attract talent, coach, lead and develop staff
- Experience developing IT related business cases and evaluation/selection of new technology solutions
- Experience managing internal IT budgets, accounting, and allocations or charge-backs
- Experience establishing and enforcing service level agreements, developing policies and gaining consensus in a multi-vendor environment
- Experience establishing and managing sourcing relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Record free of criminal convictions (Required).
- Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record as determined by Olive Crest’s insurance carrier.

- Leadership experience in the charitable non-profit sector
- Previous experience as an IT Director
- Understanding and experience with business applications unique to charitable non-profits and fund-raising
- Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, information technology management, or similar
- Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification
