The East Central Workforce Investment Board (WIB)
is accepting applications for a Director to assist them
in carrying out their duties under the
Workforce Investment Act.
The WIB is responsible for performing certain tasks for the Workforce Investment Act in Lincoln, Pottawatomie, Seminole, Hughes and Okfuskee Counties. Individuals would be expected to plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of a Board of Public and
private sector organizations. Duties and responsibilities include proven communication and presentation skills, ability to interpret and write policy, as well as be familiar with accounting, budget building and contracting. The applicant must be able to negotiate with public and private entities and recruit, orient and work with a 39+ member board. The individual must possess excellent
computer skills with experience in word processing and spreadsheets. The individual will be required to develop and operate systems for monitoring, oversight and continuous improvement. Not for profit experience is helpful. Individuals who qualify for and wishs to apply for this position should submit a resume and

education and work experience of the applicant. A Bachelors
degree in a related field or 5 years experience is required.
Salary range is $38,000 to $42,000.
