Diesel, School Bus Mechanic - Belmont, NH: PlaneTechs

Diesel and/or School Bus Mechanic Position

Responsibilities :

· Performing Preventative Maintenance on Mixed Diesel School Bus Fleet

· Conduct fuel and electrical diagnostics with limited supervision

· Complete most repairs and parts replacements

· Accurately complete written record of work performed

· Communicate with Drivers regarding “Vehicle Condition Reports” and make appropriate repairs

· Maintain a clean work and shop area as directed

Primary Duties:

· Preventative Maintenance

· Oil changes

· Air/hydraulic brakes

· Suspensions

· Transmissions

· General maintenance

Qualifications:

· Must have at least 2 years experience in vehicle maintenance and/or repair.

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Must provide your own tools

· Must possess valid clear driver’s license

· Must be able to pass background checks and compliance

· Criminal history check

· DMV check

· SSN check

· DOT Drug Test

· Trade school, mechanical course, or equivalent highly desired.

Working Conditions:

Shop, office, yard, vehicle environment, may require lifting of 20 to 50 lbs., at least once a day.
