Location and team
We are seeking an Enterprise Application Integration Architect in KEMA’s Smart Grid Systems Integration group This is a senior-level consulting role focused on performing high-level system and application architecture services for our clients in the electric utility industry who are facing the challenges of adapting to the smart grid revolution.
Tasks may include
• Lead requirements definition efforts for customer engagements. Translating client business requirements into specifications, application and process design
• Perform project planning and management for customer engagements, applying technical and business expertise
• Participate in proposal development
• Lead design and deployment of Enterprise Architecture solutions
• Assume internal thought leadership responsibilities in developing and applying best practices, implementation methodologies and tools
What we're asking
• Experience in designing and deploying Enterprise Solutions in a technical consulting environment in a senior capacity
• Expert level knowledge in one or more of the below five areas:
o Infrastructure, Networking, and Security
o Operating Systems and Frameworks (e.g. UNIX, Linux, .NET, J2EE, Application Servers)
o Data and Business Intelligence (e.g. RDBMS, Data Architecture, BI and ETL tools)
o Enterprise Integration (e.g. WebMethods, BEA Integration, Tibco)
o Enterprise Application (e.g. BPM, BAM, ERP)
o Expert level knowledge in the electric utility industry
• Bachelors degree in related discipline; Masters preferred. MBA valued.
• At least 5 years experience in designing and deploying Enterprise Architecture solutions in a technical consulting environment
• Readiness to travel up to approximately 65% domestically
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
