We are seeking a dynamic Delegate Account Executive to drive attendance to our legal conferences and trade shows. The individual will sell our legal events to law firm executives and corporate counsel. This individual should have 2+ years experience in selling over the telephone and in-person.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sell attendance for multiple Legal Events
  • Oversee the sales process from initial contact through registration completion and payment
  • Build solid business relationships with potential delegates
  • Develop new business
  • Maintain database of potential leads
  • Research new leads to add to the database
  • Create sales piece and email correspondence for leads

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience; prior event sales experience a plus.
  • Top-notch strategic and tactical selling talent
  • Ability to establish relationships at all levels of the organization including the most senior levels
  • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills essential
  • Proactive, independent, tenacious and goal-oriented
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word, ACT and PowerPoint a big plus
  • High energy and self motivated
  • Excellent phone skills/presentation and the ability to develop relationships
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Customer Management and Database Systems experience a plus
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong sales closing ability, the desire to succeed and a proven record of success is a must.
  • Able to succeed in an energetic, fast-paced environment
