Skills: WebFOCUS (MRE)-7.6 ,Developer Studio-Drill-Down/Side By Side reports, Report Caster, FOCUS, iWay, SQL, Mainframe Focus, HTML, JAVA, Platforms-HP3000, HP-UX, Unix, Linux and DB2
Duties: Analyst/Developer (WebFOCUS-Developer Report Caster) FOCUS -Interface with management & key users to develop business/systems requirements. Responsible for creating menu driven reporting applications for various business groups. Convert Cognos Quiz reports to WebFocus. Recommend data structure for data warehouse. Create systems documentation & systems manuals for end-users. Train junior staffers/client employees (knowledge transfer) in WebFOCUS. Create WebFOCUS reports for users & trained users to write basic reports. Create FOCUS tools (databases, menus, data entry forms/reports). Create reports and program in WebFocus and FOCUS/mainframe for various systems.
Responsibilities:
-Work with stakeholders, management & key users to develop business/systems requirements
-Develop and manage project plan to implement WebFocus reports
-Create development environment based on experience and industry best practices
-Design Webfocus reports, testing, implementation, and end-user training
-Mentor and train client technical staff
Required Skills:
-3 to 5 years developing WebFocus reports
-IBI product experience: Focus, WebFocus server, Maintain, Report Caster, ETL, Console, MRE, Dashboard
-Database Administration for RDBMS desired: DB2, ORACLE
-Full life cycle application development: analysis, design, coding, testing and imlementation
-Web development a plus: HTML, ASP, Java Script, VB.net
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
