Alloy Media + Marketing is a leading media and marketing services company catering to the youth and multicultural audience. Our primary customers are major entertainment, consumer products and technology companies looking to advertise to the youth demographic. We own and operate youth-focused media assets as well as provide promotional and placement agency services to our client base. We are looking to find a HR Payroll Coordinator for our Human Resources group located in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all areas of administration for Weekly TSA Payroll (Enter, balance/reconcile, distribute).
  • New hire and payroll data entry (high volume), personal changes and special payments.
  • Assign and set-up department for new programs.
  • Track hours for benefits eligibility, paid time off and send out eligibility letters/packets.
  • Work independently and with ADP to resolve inquiries and tax issues.
  • Set-up Child Support/Garnishment Orders.
  • Stop Payments/Re-issues/Direct deposit rejects.
  • Track payments for overpaid employees scheduled payment plan and follow-up.
  • Complete state unemployment paperwork.
  • Monthly Labor Statistic reporting for select states.
  • Quarterly Workers Comp/Industrial Insurance for Washington.
  • Projects assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1 – 2 years experience processing a multi-state payroll.
  • Experience with ADP systems preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – is outgoing and interacts well with others
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Possess self-confidence and ability to problem solve.
  • Responsive with a keen sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrates initiative – thinks beyond requests made and is proactive in developing and sharing new ideas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client service and relationship building skills.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
