Hours:
8:00 – 5:00 Monday – Friday
Job Duties:
· Designs systems, programs and coordinates the review of specification, user sign-off process, and the development of user manuals
· Analyzes end users data needs and develops user oriented solutions which interface with existing applications
· Modifies procedures to solve moderately complex applications problems considering computer equipment capacity /limitations, operating time and form of desired results
· Codes, tests, debugs, and documents the implementation, and installation of new/improved systems, upgrades
· Attends daily/weekly meetings and interacts regularly with management, clients and incumbents to constantly improve Application Programming services
· Follows all departmental policies/procedures; generates requested or required reports for customers and management
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree, (BA/BS) in Information Systems from a four-year college or university and three to five years programming experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience,
· Three years or more experience working with Oracle and/or relational database, PowerBuilder or other 4GL program language
· Strong analytical skills demonstrated through practical business experience; ability to think logically and clearly while multi-tasking
· Strong knowledge of Excel, Statistics and database query/programming
· Experience with advanced modeling methods, and statistical analysis
· Detailed problem solving skills, excellent project management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills and flexibility
· Ability to create and manage project schedules, QA data, run reports, multi-task while meeting various project deadlines
