JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a consultant you would be conducting assigned consulting tasks within the areas of healthcare specialties. Helping assess in the facilities processes, helping them come up with and improve their coding, billing and documentation processes and practices.
These are full time positions with benefits that will be hired internally by our client. They are based out of Atlanta , Georgia , but you can live anywhere in the United States as long as you have reasonable access to a major airport. Travel is expected to be approximately 75% with 3 weeks out of every month on the road consulting, so this will require capable, dynamic professionals who love the fast paced, get it done life style, and the opportunity to see new places and meet new people. We are looking for two different types of Inpatient Consultants. Please see descriptions below:
REQUIREMENTS:
#1 Position (In order to be considered you must meet the first four requirements below):
- This position requires credentials such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or equivalent
- Strong inpatient coding – specifically DRG
- Direct patient care contact - inpatient, critical care, or equivalent (recently for the past 3 years)
- Clinical experience (recently for the last 6 years)
- Consulting experience or comparable work experience (minimum 4 years desired but not required)
- PowerPoint and presentation skills to professional groups (desired)
-OR-
#2 Position (In order to be considered you must meet the first four requirements below):
- Licensed RN
- Extensive adult inpatient care experience in a hospital setting, particularly in an Intensive Care environment (CCU, ICU, etc.) *Case managers with ICU experience or Interventional Cardiology experience may also be considered
- Direct patient care contact - inpatient, critical care, or equivalent (recently for the past 3 years)
- Clinical experience (recently for the last 6 years)
- Consulting experience or comparable work experience related presentation/consultitive skills with physicians/hospital administration (minimum 4 years desired but not required)
- PowerPoint and presentation skills to large professional groups (desired)
NOTE: Due to client restrictions, only W-2 will be considered (i.e., we cannot do corp-to-corp or 1099).
