Job Description:

Overall job responsibility is to work with the margin optimization team on matching direct cost to revenue in support of the customer cube reporting tool. This person will additionally be responsible for exception analysis and identifying corrective path. The position requires working with various internal groups to resolve exceptions.

Individual will also review assigned customer circuits for purpose of creating read-outs for Business Finance on customer profitability by segment.

This individual will be responsible for tracking and reporting progress weekly and monthly and will be responsible for hitting weekly targets.

On a daily basis, the analyst will perform research across multiple revenue, inventory, ordering and costs systems on a circuit by circuit basis.

On a daily basis, the analyst will access the front end and back end of various systems for data mining purposes.

Job Requirements:

At least 3 years work experience in a business setting related to IT, data mining, billing, access cost analysis, audit or dispute, leased inventory analysis , exception management, customer provisioning, or vendor provisioning or project management.
Prior work at a telecom company a plus especially in the areas of IT project management, billing , access cost, customer or vendor provisioning.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Proficient with Data Query tools like SQL, TOAD, and Brio.
Excellent research and data analysis skills.
Ability to data mine.
Efficient time management skills.
Ability to drive results of analysis through to resolution.
