Revenue Auditor

SUMMARY: Audits revenues in the various areas of the casino for the company as well as its relationship with the Colorado Division of Gaming and other regulatory agencies by performing the following duties personally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs daily gaming audits while following the Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures.

  • Traces source documents to evaluate documentation and reconciliation.

  • Helps with reviewing of other gaming data in accordance with regulations.

  • Helps prepare and review variance reports and follow-up reports.

  • Performs other auditing duties as assigned by the revenue audit supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma. Knowledgeable of Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as determination of analysis of variances, calculate figures and amounts. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Colorado Support Gaming License.

Should be able to adapt well to the casino environment involving large numbers of people, and to loud and continuous noise levels. Must also be able to handle the concept of persons occupying an establishment for the purpose of gambling, drinking, eating, and smoking for long periods of time.
