Branch Manager - Staffing Industry




PURPOSE: Manage branch operations, staff & quality of service provided to our clients.

To increase branch revenue through new account sales and account development. To insure profitability by maintaining high-margins and proper staffing levels.

SCOPE: Directly responsible for performance of all branch employees. Recruit, Select, Train, Manage and Motivate a staff capable of meeting branch goals for revenues

and profitability.

REPORTS TO: President

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing:

  1. Establish and implement an organized, consistent, hard-hitting target accounts program. Contact all potential clients in the market area and consistently bring on new accounts.
  2. Consistently visit top 30 accounts on at least a quarterly basis. Maintain customer contact to insure service satisfaction and growth of accounts.
  3. Oversee and approve all advertising (print and internet).

Operations:

1. Ensure all standards of operations are met through training, modeling, and enforcing all standards.

2. Direct, counsel, train, coordinate and recruit and motivate all employees under supervision to achieve objectives.

3. Handle problems or concerns with client companies, applicants and employees. Review with President as appropriate.

4. Oversee all purchases necessary for the branch.

5. Monitor and measure customer service activity to ensure excellence.

6. Collect and review weekly activity reports from staff.

7. Manage profit and loss of branch. Adjust staff and expenses as necessary.

8. Conduct performance reviews of staff. Provide performance feedback regularly or on an as-needed basis. Recommend promotions and wage adjustment as earned.

Recruiting:

  1. Foster a pro-active approach to recruiting.
  2. Focus staff efforts on building an inventory of talented temporaries.
  3. Review applicant interview activity on a weekly basis.
