SENIOR DESIGNER

The Senior Designer will be responsible for monthly design, fit, and launch that reflect a "high fashion" concept. Strong Visual and Technical Skills with an exceptional ability to manage people, work product, and processes are essential to success and in ensuring timely collection delivery.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of directly related design and management experience.
  • Experience working across multiple categories, textiles, and demographics.
  • Proficiency in hand-sketching, WebPDM, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • MUST BE DETAIL_ORIENTED AND HIGHLY ORGANIZED.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in overseas production/tech packs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Shopping "trend" and spotting cutting edge high-fashion.
  • Translating "thematic visions" into saleable fashion-forward garments.
  • Working with all levels of designers to create, trim, fit, and style garments.
  • Executing all phases of design (from original design through top stages).
  • Ability to efficiently multitask to execute turnaround deadlines.
  • Works well under pressure and open to receiving critical feedback.
  • Self-starter with exceptional communication and follow-up skills.
  • Able to maintain a constant sense of urgency while being creative.
  • Able to construct and oversee the development of tech packs.
