GSI Partner Marketing Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY
Individual will be responsible for developing the marketing strategy with Content Management & Archiving division’s (CMA) Global System Integrator (GSI) partners and driving the appropriate implementation of enablement programs and marketing campaigns. Individual works at a strategic level with senior members of the partner’s organization, as well as senior members of alliance, product and marketing program teams. Develops project plans and timelines, manages execution and reports progress.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Understand the overall corporate strategy, business plans of EMC CMA and align initiatives as appropriate. This includes awareness and alignment with other internal groups’ plans, including: the Product Management and Marketing plans, Industry and Solution Marketing, and Alliances. Defines and implements partner specific programs to meet these requirements.
· Work closely with EMC Alliance Management to understand GSI’s requirements for partnering with EMC CMA. Formulate corresponding business and marketing plan(s) to maximize and leverage the skills and solutions of the partner with both CMA and the partner’s organization.
· Leverage co-op and joint funding of EMC Core Global Alliance team. Coordinate projects as appropriate.
· Manages the successful implementation of multiple GSI specific programs. Provides measurements and reporting by GSI.
· Works in conjunction with international marketing management in the respective geographies to ensure that all programs have the opportunity to be applied internationally.
· Works with Alliances and Sales Management to ensure that programs reflect alignment with Sales strategy and input and meets partner requirements.
· Regularly meet with GSI partners and EMC partner management to understand impact on current business and market trends and to ensure that programs meet their needs.
· Oversee the development, delivery and execution of GSI enablement and/or solution marketing programs. Programs will be specific to GSI partner requirements and can/may include:
o Enablement/sales materials including: sales training presentations, sales briefs, internal collateral, playbooks, customer facing sales presentations, win summaries.
o Marketing materials, including: solution collateral, datasheets, web content/media, webinar content.
o Event related activities and materials, including: strategy and coordination; material development; promotion activities.
SKILLS
· Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years work experience – MBA a plus.
· Possesses experience working in or with a Global System Integrator organization.
· Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge.
· Ability to influence others to achieve results.
· Ability to execute; well organized, results-driven.
· Strategic planning abilities.
· Cross-functional team skills; team player.
· Very strong writing, presentation and communication skills.
· Excellent problem solving skills.
