Sr. Director Global Games Project Management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Direct Global Project Management resources to drive and support development teams to achieve critical milestone dates to ensure we hit in stock targets on all new developed items in line with the Global Marketing teams targets.


Champion the Prime Time and Key Driver items taking ownership for schedule adherence and the communication of project status. Raise the profile and collective responsibility with the D& D team to ensure targets are achieved as a priority throughout the team.


Be the definitive owner of the development schedule in the eyes of the Global D& D community and be the sole point of contact for the communication of project development schedule status to the Global Marketing community.


Take ownership for the planning / facilitation / preparation / chairing and cascading of output for the key business driver meetings Take responsibility for implementing a structured approach to NPD ensuring best use of time for all D&D team members. With particular attention to the needs of both development sites while striving for uniformity as the prime objective


Lead the facilitation of the meetings to generate the Global Games Blueprint and be responsible for the cascade of agreed actions for Global D&D from this meeting.


Generate and maintain the Global Shape of the Line Document; keeping it live at all times and working with Marketing and Global Games Design VP’s to ensure it truly reflects the range of products required for Global development in line with the Global Blueprint.


Champion the Evolution of Product Development Metrics and own responsibility for ensuring accountability to maintain and improve those metrics to track and report team performance and Global Games Development Effectiveness.


Lead the Design & Development Process Management Resources to recommend and Deliver Key Business Systems and Processes to support and improve Global Product Development needs e.g. SharePoint / Livelink Upgrades.



KEY SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE


· Extensive Project Management Experience in Packaged Goods Development

· Proven Record of Leading Teams with Goal Orientated Objectives

· Experience in Creating and Managing Teams in different locations within a globally focussed business

environment with common objectives.

· Excellent PC / Systems / Process skills

Experience in Europe and International Market Liason

· Experience of Budget Management and Financial Awareness

· Proven problem identification and resolution skills

Experience in offshore developement

· Excellent communication skills

· Numerate & attentive to detail

· Commercially aware




Education/Experience Required:
• BA or BS in business or technical area, MBA preferred
• Project or product management experience required
• Global development experience required
• 4-7 years experience in the design and/or manufacture of consumer products
• Project management certification a plus
