| MARACAY HOMES - Vice President of Sales Description Maracay Homes, a Scottsdale based homebuilder of single-family detached homes with current operations in the Phoenix and Tucson metro area markets, is seeking a highly motivated Vice President of Sales. This position will report to the President. The Vice President of Sales will establish and execute the overall vision for the sales function within Maracay Homes. Key expectations of the position to include: - Fostering an environment and culture that attracts the best available sales talent in the marketplace to the Maracay Homes team.
- Development of systems, processes and resources to equip our sales team with the tools they need to be successful. This includes: (1) Training resources designed around a cohesive vision of what the Maracay Homebuyer consumer experience will be and the role that our sales team plays to ensure consistency of that consumer experience; (2) Establishment of reliable methods for the monitoring and reporting of market and competitor activities and performance; and (3) Ensuring that "back of the house" systems and processes are intelligently designed and flawlessly executed. This includes direct supervision of the sales processing and closing functions.
- Creation of a culture of accountability where performance expectations are clear and measurements are in place to ensure peak performance of the sales function.
- Integration of the sales function with the other functional areas of Maracay Homes with an emphasis on teaming and customer satisfaction. Special emphasis on fostering a culture of teaming at the community level between sales, construction and warranty.
- Sponsorship and direct responsibility for the Maracay Homes' Color Design Studio (CDS), ensuring that the CDS is integrated as a key component of a value-added consumer experience and is a profitable resource for Maracay Homes.
- Perform duties of Designated Broker including ratification of sales contracts and compliance with all regulatory responsibilities.
- Participate as a member of Maracay's senior management team in the creation of long term business strategy as well as annual and quarterly operating priorities and goals.
- Establish sales targets by community and also all sales related budgets for the Firm annual plan (FAP).
- Work with Marketing on business development and sales support programs to generate sales in consumer, realtor and relocation channels.
- Represent the company with appropriate industry organizations.
- Work with Land Acquisition on community positioning of acquisition opportunities.
- Work with Architecture and Purchasing on product positioning and product development.
Supervisory Responsibility: Direct reports include Sales Manager(s), Sales and Closing administration, and Color Design Studio. Qualifications - Four-year college degree with advanced degree preferred.
- Five years at a senior-level sales management position preferably in new home sales.
- Detailed technical understanding of all aspects of the new homes sales process.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to recruit, coach, and develop employees and effectively delegate.
- Ability to foster an environment without barriers in which all levels of employees work as a team.
- Prior supervision of sales team.
