We seek a Product Support Analyst to work in our R&D Group at our North American headquarters in Glastonbury, CT. This is a position that resides in the Development group, but works closely with the Client Care Group, analyzing product issues received from Client Care. Product Support Analysts assist programmers with the business aspect of our products and provide technical assistance to Client Care team members. The job requires you also to do systems/regression testing.

As a Product Support Analyst, you will:

  • provide detailed analysis of product issues for Core product lines, received from Client Care
  • writing advanced scripts using SQL to analyze data
  • reviewing code and revisions to software in your analysis process
  • using debug tools to assist with troubleshooting
  • assist programmers with the business aspect of product (set up test scenarios)
  • write the content of system update documentation; assist the documentation group with content to existing documentation
  • provide assistance to Client Care personnel
  • perform systems testing for product issues / regression for processes during the QA phase

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • at least seven years of customer applications support experience and three years of experience in a bank environment in back-office operations, researching issues
  • experience using SQL
  • excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to keep sensitive information confidential
  • a personally motivated attitude of achievement and pride in finished product
  • the ability to work independently, with a great attention to detail Strong research and problem solving skills
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access and Excel)
