We currently have an excellent opportunity in the Global Vaccine and Sterile Quality Operations department for an Environmental Monitoring technician. In this role and under the direction from department supervision, the technician will perform routine duties and special testing for viable and non-viable particulate matter according to established procedures.
- Collect water samples
- Use aseptic techniques
- Maintain records for specified duties as required by regulations and/or as specified by supervision
Please note, this is a Union 2nd shift position (4pm to 12:30am), working Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. PLUS a minimum of 60 credits from an accredited university/college to include a minimum of 4 credits in Biological Science with a lab, 4 credits in Microbiology or Bacteriology with a lab, 4 credits in General Chemistry with a lab, and 3 credits in Mathematics are required.
Required:
- Ability to lift/move up to 45 pounds
- Good working knowledge of aseptic techniques
- Willing to work in a 2nd Shift Union Position - Monday through Friday, 4pm to 12:30am EST.
