Basic Qualifications:

Must have experience leading teams to evaluate and manage IT portfolios, explore new concepts, technologies or product ideas to address business problems and optimize clients' investments in technology.

Core Competencies:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, or Technical Discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

- Typically possesses five or more years experience in process management, IT portfolio management and/or product management plus two or more years of supervisory or program management experience.

- Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams to manage the resolution of major or complex issues that do not typically have established precedence for resolution.

- Demonstrated experience with user/market segmentation, gathering user requirements, technology usage, and trend analysis.

- Demonstrated experience in an IT organization supporting internal business clients.

- Demonstrated experience in process mapping and root cause analysis in order to derive conclusions and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

- Demonstrated client relationship management experience.

- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.

- Must demonstrate excellent business mastery, including the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.

- Must demonstrate excellent management mastery, including effective resource and project planning, decision making, results delivery, team building, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation.

- Must demonstrate strong personal mastery, including ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.

Preferences:

MBA or Graduate degree in Marketing. Demonstrated experience working in a business environment using SAP systems.

Typical Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work with the IT's Business Relationship Managers (BRM) to understand SCE's Operations Support organization's business drivers and resulting IT implications in order to identify opportunities for strategic alignment. Typical responsibilities include: supporting Account Management Teams comprised of 6 - 8 IT & Business Integration (BI) General Managers, leveraging their expertise and resources to resolve service delivery issues, providing solutions to mitigate

IT&BI-to-business impacts, establishing Service Level Agreements; providing business support for the Business Relationship Manager (BRM); facilitating the development and implementation of the business unit's strategic alignment plan, including technology portfolio view, business capability requirements, business drivers, technology roadmap, communication plan, and stakeholder engagement strategy; monitoring service levels, interpreting client satisfaction results and provide counseling to IT&BI on unintended negative consequences associated with IT&BI's policies, procedures, or processes; assessing business partner's current and future business needs and translating those into innovative technology business solutions to be incorporated into IT&BI's Operating and Strategic plans, and General Rate Case; assist business partners in the resolution of short term problems, assessment of root cause and development of long-term solutions on behalf of clients; represent the BRM at client meetings or communicating with clients in response to questions or complaints; interacting with various levels of management, acting as a key consultant to resolve both functional and broad business issues; and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
