Vipros CNC Operator - 2nd Shift: Express Employment Professionals Roundrock TX

Georgetown manufacturing company needs a Vipros CNC Operator for a long term position. This person will set up, operate and program a Vipros fabricator including loading material, changing tooling and changing programs. This job would also consist of setting up and working with various types of sheet metal working machines such as power shears and forming presses.

Job Duties will include:

§ Inspects and maintains work place and equipment for compliance with safety requirements and corrects any safety issues prior tow performing operations

§ Sets up and operates sheet metal equipment to fabricate and form sheet metal products to Engineering drawings and specifications.

§ Inspects parts per applicable procedures.

§ Resolves quality and mechanical problems, making minor repairs and equipment adjustments, as needed.

§ Works from blueprints, schedules and specifications

§ Operates forklift truck as related to loading/unloading the Vipros fabricator.

Job Qualifications include

§ Extensive knowledge of sheet metal equipment including entering or changing program, setup and operation of the Vipros fabricator.

§ Ability to read and understand measuring devices as required for equipment set up or product inspection. Including but not limited to caliper, measuring tape and height gage.

§ Prior experience with turret punch press equipment is preferred (Vipros, Trumph, Strippit, etc.)

§ Operator’s permit for operation of forklift truck

§ Experience reading and understanding blueprints and engineering specifications

§ Experience reading and analyzing assembly instructions and Billing of Material documents

§ Experience reading and understanding measuring devices for equipment set up or product inspection

§ Extensive knowledge of sheet metal equipment including entering or changing program, setup and operation of the Vipros fabricator

§ Must possess at least a High School diploma or equivalent

§ Frequent sitting, standing, walking, carrying, stooping, and crouching

§ Ability to Lift 40 lbs all day throughout a shift

§ Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demand and schedule dictates.

Hours for this position are Monday thru Friday 3:30 pm to 12 am. Starting pay for this position is $11 per hour depending on level of experience. Candidates must pass a pre employment back ground and drug screen and provide valid proof of US Residency.
