Job Description:
The Systems Engineer II will contribute to engineering tasks for existing end-to-end systems and participate in the integration of new systems. P rovide engineering support for the life cycle of assigned systems. Apply existing engineering skills as well as coordinating with senior systems engineering team members and Subject Matter Experts. A ct independently to most efficiently execute their duties and achieve customer goals.
Position is located in Alice Springs, Australia.
Position is a two year tour with multiple tours possible.
Basic Qualifications - Required Experience, Skills:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline and 2+ years engineering experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years experience within the Intelligence Community.
- Demonstrated understanding of Digital Signal Processing techniques.
- 2+ years experience problem solving and troubleshooting of technical and/or engineering systems gained through application of technical processes, standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
- Software programming background.
- Good written and verbal skills and interpersoonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. U.S. or Australian citizenship is required. Additional requirements include:

A current TS/SCI SSBI security clearance or Top Secret PV clearance. EBI and polygraph required. Program access required.
- Individual and eligible dependents must have the ability to satisfy requirements for applicable visas.
- Individual and eligible dependents must successfully pass medical and psychological examinations prior to being selected for the position.
Desired Experience, Skills, Knowledge:
- System integration experience.
- Exposure to hardware and networking concepts, and systems administration.
- Experience with XMIDAS based signal processing systems.
- XMIDAS programming experience.
- Linux operating systems.
- Project management and execution skills.
- Previous experience at this customer location.
- R6-Sigma Specialist.
