Senior Telecom Administrator

Direct Responsibilities: (as assigned, but not limited to)

The Telecom Administrator's responsibility is to maintain, plan, develop, and implement the Company's telecommunications infrastructure. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing telecommunication systems and services including call recording, voicemail, wireless and PBX communications systems in a multi-site environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and standardize project goals, timelines, procedures and documentation
  • Design call flows, ACD vectors and route patterns
  • Interact with vendor sales, project managers, engineers, developers and all levels of cross functional teams and management to specify the correct equipment, services and support to order for client’s telecom requirements
  • Create and complete test plans, global user policies, and user and administrator training documentation
  • Complete projects and provide deliverables within the scope schedules and budgets associated with each project
  • Process cellular phone and blackberry requests
  • Keep current with technology trends, best practices, software and firmware updates and patches (PCN) and release notes from Avaya that pertain to enterprise environment
  • Monitor CRM (Track-it) helpdesk queue and resolve telecom and facilities related tickets
  • Assist with and facilitate office move functions related to telecom and phone system issues
  • Research and order telecom circuits
  • Monitor helpdesk queue and resolve telecom and facilities related tickets

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Experience with Avaya Communication Manager
  • Solid understanding of PBX programming, Vectoring, EAS skills based routing, VoIP, CMS, eCAS and auto attendant, required
  • Knowledge and/or experience with NICE Call Recording, Audix Voice Mail, AES Server/ CTI, Contact Center Express, VoIP, Audio and web conferencing, a plus
  • Skilled in creation and implementation of detailed procedures, standards, and policies, a must.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required to be successful in this fast paced 24/7 call center environment.
