General Summary

Application Services is a dynamic IT area with a focus on common, enterprise business capabilities including workflow, orchestrations, rules, document generation, and common enterprise services and components.

We are currently seeking an individual to implement Tibco's iProcess workflow solutions. Workflow is an integration point that blends Tibco's iProcess, orchestrations, service interface packages, rules, web services and user interfaces into a fully automated business process. The person interested in this role should also have a keen interest in understanding the business and their processes as well as the underlying products and services core to our business. This includes understanding business requirements and translating these to workflow solutions.

Accountabilities will include working with business and IT teams to implement technical workflow solutions for business processes as designed by the Business Process Modelers. A significant part of this role is working with other IT project teams to ensure the workflow solution integrates into a broader technical solution. Due to the high level of technical integration in our automated workflow solutions, the person in this position will work very collaboratively with members of the Application SerivesTeam in such areas as Biztalk, Websphere MQ, Decision Services, etc...

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
o Tibco's iProcess (we do have ability to train in this area)
o C#.Net
o ASP.Net
o Messaging Technologies
o Web Services
o XML/XSD Schema experience
o Service Oriented Architecture

o Websphere MQ

o Structured Project Methodology (Iterative and/or waterfall)

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Analyzes moderately complex to complex business/technical problems.
2. Development of customer relationships and in-depth understanding of their operations.
3. Designs simple to moderately complex applications under general supervision.
4. Develops specifications for complex programs and program modifications as assigned.
5. Develops test plans, tests programs and modifications as assigned.
6. Communicates effectively with business partners and systems resources, up to and including systems heads.
7. Codes complex programs and modifications to programs as assigned.
8. Able to lead a phase of a project, or lead a small project, including planning, analysis, scheduling, identification of resource needs, communication of status and issue resolution.
9. Understands technical environments for development and production support for assigned applications.
10. Understands the business process supported by the assigned application.
11. Understands and applies all aspects of the application development methodology.
12. Follows systems standards and procedures as defined by the company architecture.
13. Completes assignments and tasks within agreed upon timelines.
14. Works in partnership with assigned business clients.
15. Works collaboratively to achieve team results.
16. Completes administrative tasks, status reporting, etc. as required by supervisor.
17. Develops complex programs and modifications to programs from specifications as assigned with minimal supervision.
18. Designs basic to moderately complex applications under general supervision.
19. Documents programs and program modifications to programs assigned.
20. Preparation and education of customers for installation and maintenance of systems.
21. Functions as a mentor.
22. Performs other duties as assigned.
