Job Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist provides sales and marketing support to a group of Internal Wholesalers within a particular region. This individual is responsible for:
- Answer in-bound sales calls on a daily basis.
- Profile and identify successful agents within the region.
- Refer top tier agents and prospects to the designated internal wholesaler.
- Provide product information and sales support to Jackson agents and prospects.
- Create and maintain referral leads lists to recruit new agents.
- Assist the Internal Wholesalers with illustrations and various marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the Sales Desk Manager to assist in day-to-day activities.
- Utilize Jackson databases to create and maintain broker profile levels and sales activity.
- Complete special calling campaigns as directed by management.

Position Requirements:
- Must obtain NASD Series 6 and CO state life insurance license within 60 days of filling position.
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience working in a customer service environment.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Products (MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Prior insurance or investment sales experience preferred.
