Overview of Position:


As a Macy's Loss Prevention Agent, you'll find an environment that offers encouragement and support of your career goals, and have the opportunity to be recognized as a respected member of the Macy's team.

As a Macy's Loss Prevention Agent, you'll help us protect our company's assets. This will allow you to discover hidden talents (or develop new ones) as you perform internal and external surveillances using our state-of-the-art detection and investigation systems. You can also put your analytical and problem-solving skills to the test in resolving complex investigations.

As a valuable part of your store’s Loss Prevention team, you’ll be working with your Manager, store team, and fellow LP team members in the development and successful execution of your store’s shortage program.

o Find innovative ways to successfully promote and execute your store’s Shortage Programs and the Loss Prevention Process (LPP).

o A highly motivated, detail oriented, well-organized professional with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
o A self-starter, with the ability to maintain a high level of productivity, accuracy and commitment to quality with minimal supervision.
o The ability to follow instructions and consistently act in a professional manner.
o An ability to perform investigations in a confidential environment.
o Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with the public and in a team atmosphere.
o Able to use good judgment and utilize critical thinking skills.
o A basic knowledge of PC hardware and software, and the ability to learn internal computer systems.
o Possess a strong desire to constantly improve and develop your skills.


Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of college coursework desirable, or the equivalent work experience.
