Process and Controls Analyst-1686229 DescriptionThe Process & Controls analyst is responsible for executing the following activities in performance of his/her job duties.
Routine Tasks
- Follow the corporate Security Administration Standard in administration of business applications and all other company policies.
- Maintain a general understanding of financial services industry practices, products and services.
- Adhere to departmental security controls while performing EXP AG and Omni Plus administration tasks.
- Analyzes data related to Omni Plus profile transactions, ensuring segregation of duties are maintained in accordance with business rules.
- Perform all routine administration tasks associated with the maintenance of EXP AG workflow and Omni Plus profiles as necessary.
- Apply excellent knowledge of root cause analysis, remediation, requirements gathering, business process documentation/reengineering and information security best practices within the financial services industry.
- Respond to written and verbal business user inquiries related to EXP AG workflow and Omni Plus profile administration.
- Working knowledge of Service Now delivery plans and service level commitments
- Develop and update Service Now delivery flows in accordance with business operations and administrative changes.
- Document administrative processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Projects
- Participate on project teams to improve operational and administrative processes as assigned.
- Prepares test plans, review and analyzes data as required.
- Conduct testing to support project deliverables and administrative process changes as necessary.
- Prepares reports to adequately document test findings for review by management.
Reporting
- Requires knowledge of business unit operations and processes to develop EXP AG workflow and Omni Plus profiles related reports.
- Demonstrated skills developing and using spreadsheets, databases, OMNI, EXP AG, and other analytical and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in an analytical role in the financial services industry supporting operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field or some combination of education and additional work experience in a financial environment.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to develop reporting solutions and data queries.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong technical database skills including SQL, MS Access and other query tools.
- Knowledge of EXP AG workflow and OMNI applications suite.
