Executive Assistant



TempStar Staffing is currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant for our southern York area client. This is a full time temp to hire position with excellent pay.

Our client is an online learning management system provider and content developer for the Emergency Services industry. They have an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant who wants the opportunity for career growth in a rapidly expanding Internet Education Company. Our client enjoys working with energetic people who are committed, enjoy a team environment, and take pride in their work. They are seeking a professional who works well independently, is self motivated and takes the initiative to stay organized. Computer literacy including Internet usage and a high level of proficiency in MS Office programs are required. A Bachelors degree is is also required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Answer and manage answering of office phones for best customer service possible.
2. Coordinates schedule for CEO. This includes appointments and balancing the daily meeting load along with travel logistics.
3. Handle miscellaneous office functions such as filing, faxing, copying, bank deposits, and ordering of office supplies.
4. Process shipping and mailing.
5. Assist content production staff in producing content for Learning Management System.
6. Coordinate conference calls/meetings.
7. Assist in coordinating trade show logistics.
8. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Proficiency in personal computer software such as desktop publishing, spreadsheet, calendar, and project management software.
2. Experience using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and Outlook.
3. Excellent administrative and communication skills
4. Professional demeanor and appearance
5. Understand, anticipate and prioritize duties, and follow through on daily activities.
6. Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
7. At least 1 year experience in an office environment.
8. Ability to manage and coordinate manager’s schedules.
9. College or Specialized Business degree required
