SAP APO Business Analyst Lead with BI or BW * contract Opportunity in Louisiana
As a SAP BI/BW Business Analyst you will lead business process and work with application development analyst. You will provide local support and serve as subject matter expert for SAP APO-PPDS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with the business unit to understand opportunities, build strong partnerships in support of business and IT strategic plan and roadmap development, and ensures alignment of initiatives with organization objectives.
- Provide Local technical support and serves as a subject matter expert for the SAP Advanced Planner & Optimizer Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (APO-PPDS) module.
- Support power users and has a deep understanding on how SAP supports local business processes.
- Technical knowledge of SAP Supply Chain Execution (SCE), Materials Management (MM), and Business Intelligence (BI) modules is desired.
- Lead business process modeling, business process improvement, and change management activities in support of a global enterprise utilizing SAP.
- Able to work within the Global Process Owner, Regional Process Advisor, and local Power User networks to understand enterprise business objectives, assess alternatives, and complete a business case on recommended solutions utilizing evaluation criteria consistent with Business Value Realization goals.
- Experienced in working with application development analysts, in order to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into IT technical solution specifications.
- Able to develop rigorous business user acceptance testing scenarios and test scripts, ensuring traceability to approved business requirements, and facilitates User Acceptance Testing.
- Coordinates with power users and with second/third level technical support to provide problem resolution and implementation of configuration changes and enhancements to SAP.
- Understand and convey the Information Protection (IP) requirements needed for current and new solutions to ensure that IP compliance is fulfilled. Recommends and implements alternative solutions to mitigate identified IP risks.
- Document, and analyze business requirements in order to identify alternative solutions to a business need.
- Lead the development of user documentation, and training materials.
Set priorities and ensure alignment of business needs, organization objectives with resource availability.
- Develop and deliver Performance Management Plans (PMP) to direct reports.
- Be willing to be held accountable for results, and able to hold other accountable as appropriate.
- Serves as a liaison between the business and IT, providing consulting and advisory support on technology issues.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science or related area.
- Minimum of 3 years of SAP Advanced Planner & Optimizer Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (APO-PPDS) module.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience with SAP with BI or BW
- Technical knowledge of SAP Supply Chain Execution (SCE), Materials Management (MM)
- Experienced with Maximo and Autocad
- Business Intelligence (BI) modules is desired
- Minimum of 4 years experience with IT Lead or IT Project Manager
- Experienced with creation of budgets
- Experienced with full lifecycle development
- Capable of working in a global, multi-cultural environment.
- Experienced with MS Project
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
