Cyber Security
GIS Data Loader/Analyst extracts, processes, analyzes, evaluates, and administrate the entry of mapping data into an enterprise-level intelligence management system in support of geospatial intelligence operations. Depending upon need and case specifics, the GIS Data Loader/Analyst may validate the automated process functionality and assist field intelligence analysts and case agents with the identification of lead information within the data. GIS Data Loader/Analyst shall also conduct training classes and give briefings associated with the intelligence management system.
The primary work location is in Washington D.C. Travel requirements are minimal and are usually related to conferences/training or operations of one week or less.
Required Qualifications:
· General technical understanding of GIS principles as applied to computerized data mining.
· Understanding of computer operating systems and file management with knowledge of Windows and Unix & Linux.
· Experience training users in technical topics and/or use of enterprise level data analysis systems.
· Competent in M.S. Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
· Strong English oral and written communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Strong report writing and quality control experience.
· Experience with GIS data mining and mapping software packages such as ArcGIS, Google Maps, or Quantum GIS.
· Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven Environment.
This position requires the candidate possess an active Top Secret clearance and to maintain the clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI/CI Poly.
