Technical Support Representative:

Technical Support Representatives at Stream work with cutting edge technology from one of the world's most innovative hardware and software manufacturers. We have an upbeat, professional environment that makes coming to work fun! Provide outstanding service and you will receive:

You'll be assisting people all over the country, providing technical assistance, advice and solutions for their computer and wireless multi-media devices. You'll also offer service agreement options to customers.

A paid three-week program will help you get started. You will also learn while on the job. As a Technical Support Representative you must be able to provide prompt, reliable, and accurate information to customers while maintaining effective communications during conversations by adjusting to the pace and technical level of the customer.

Technical Support Representatives will also be responsible for accurately logging all interactions. Some representatives may make outbound calls to customers to provide status updates or follow-up on an unresolved case.

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • User-level knowledge of computer technology and mobile devices such as PDA's, smart cell phones, MP3 players, external hard drives, printers, Mac OS X (preferred), etc.
  • Experience with computer based content management applications. Examples include Microsoft Entourage, Address Book, Windows, web browsing, email, various software applications, SAP, Outlook Express, Outlook, Web data bases, etc.
  • Basic understanding of data storage, file systems, and optical media.
  • Experience with digital content management such as photos, movies, and music.
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and active listening
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good documentation abilities
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Detail orientation
  • Friendly, upbeat personality that enjoys assisting customers
  • Ability to work in a structured environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Dependability and shift flexibility are key
  • Customer service experience
  • Call Center experience a strong plus.
