Description Avis Budget Group operates two of the most recognized brands in the global vehicle rental industry through Avis Rent A Car System, LLC (Avis), Budget Rent A Car System, Inc. and Budget Truck Rental (Budget). We are currently searching for a dedicated Financial Analyst to work at our Philadelphia, PA location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reporting Package
- Forecast, Plan and maintain Corporate Budgets, Plans and Reforecasts
- Variance analysis, budget to actual and actual to actual analysis
- Creation of highly flexible financial models
- Monitor and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly financial and operational trending according to business needs
- Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting per management requests
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close and reporting responsibilities
- Prepare monthly reporting and analysis of financial results to senior management using both established and ad-hoc reports
- Analyze and explain key P&L statement and headcount variances
· Prepare forecasts and analyze trends in business units.
· For assigned projects; prepare detail of work plan and schedule, complete detailed analysis and research, identify options, prepare reports for management and recommend action or change.
· Assist in preparing economic/financial research and analysis for use in the development of business strategies and tactics.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3+ years experience in Financial reporting and variance analysis roles
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to work independently with guidance as necessary
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Solid understanding of financial statements (i.e. income statements, balance sheet and cash flow)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Additional Experience:
· Strong Excel skills
· Knowledge of Essbase
Required Experience
