May perform one or more of the following:
· Effective communication skills—verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal, in order to interact with internal departments, vendors, employer groups, and other clients.
· Responds to report-related questions/concerns/problems raised by vendors, brokers, employers, or internal staff.
· Works with internal and external clients to produce both standard and ad hoc reports.
· Communicates regularly with vendors regarding new implementations, layout changes, or data-related issues.
· Manages the data integrity process for over 200 unique employer groups, government clients, or brokers. Collaborates with both executive and analytical staff to ensure data integrity and consistency.
· Work with other team members to develop and maintain a clear and concise documentation process for all analytic and report-related activities.
Functional Description:
This position provides interdepartmental analytical support with respect to the clinical data currently received from over 50 unique vendors. The Business Analyst also manages all report needs from internal and external clients. In addition, this person reviews all incoming and outgoing data for accuracy and integrity.
Education and Typical Years Experience
· Minimum 5+ years of progressive responsibility preferred in analytics, reporting, data management, or related field.
· Knowledge of healthcare concepts required.
· Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and basic analytical skills.
· Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
· Basic Excel, Access, and/or SQL knowledge required.
- Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Full-time, flexible schedule.
