Our Client is seeking an experience temporary property claim handler with experience to handle commercial 1st party property claims up to the $5,000 to $100,000 severity range. Most of the assigned claims, however, will be in the lower range of that threshold; but the Client is looking for the experience and capacity to address property issues of moderate complexity in the commercial claims arena. Also the client is seeking organizational skills and a detail oriented individual. Under direct supervision, this person reviews, examines, and authorizes 1st party property, fire, wind, theft and extended risk or other insurance claims investigated by insurance adjusters. This person examines adjusters' reports and similar insurance claims to determine extent of insurance coverage and validity of claim. This person awards settlement according to company practices and procedures. This person may give technical direction to adjusters on the file.

This position typically requires a college degree and more than four years of related experience in Senior Claims Adjusting (possible fit) or Claims Examination. Please only apply if you have 3-4 years of current Property Claims Examination experience. A license is required.
