Major Accounts Manager - Credit Union Group (303776-618): Open Solutions Inc.
We seek a Major Accounts Manager for our Credit Union Group working in the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast Region. In this role, you will develop and execute an account strategy to position Open Solutions Inc. as the provider of choice to large clients. This is a premier account management position within Open Solutions Inc. and will be accountable for sales within the Credit Union Account Management Group, including development of strategic initiatives required to grow and retain revenue streams of assigned clients while ensuring customer satisfaction.
As our Major Accounts Manager, you will: • Drive the account relationship and be responsible for meeting stated revenue objectives • Identify key trends and client needs and will leverage industry knowledge and applications to sell across the large client base • Meet a wide variety of the client's communication needs including data solutions and other services • Provide for a constant source of communications between the client institutions and Open Solutions and be a single source of issue ownership to Open Solutions • Provide feedback into Open Solutions Credit Union management on any strategic opportunities or issues affecting product enhancements/developments • Team up with product specialists to meet the client's commitment and satisfaction goals • Participate with Product Management in enhancement reviews of products and services • Focus on developing C-level relationships, determine their strategic needs, and be a creative solution-giver utilizing the resources of Open Solutions • Perform other major accounts management-related tasks as assigned. To qualify for this position, you must have: • a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience • five-plus years of banking experience • two-plus years of successful sales experience • strong customer advocacy skills with client satisfaction being a 'job one' philosophy • strong interpersonal and communication skills • strong writing skills, including the ability to develop proposals and business plans • strong negotiation skills and the ability to identify positive and negative opportunities • a self-starting and independent approach to work, but also a team-player mentality • the ability to work remotely with a strong work ethic, and be able to travel 50% of the time.
