Insurance Underwriters Commercial Lines

Kinsale Management, Inc. is building a specialty lines insurance company based in Richmond, Virginia. We provide property and casualty insurance, within the excess and surplus segment. We seek experienced, entrepreneurially minded and hardworking individuals to join our team. Our culture and compensation is heavily focused on team work, success and long term wealth building.

We are currently seeking experienced underwriters at all levels for our Healthcare, Allied Health, Environmental, Property, Excess Casualty, Professional Liability, and Primary Casualty business units. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 3 years underwriting experience in excess and surplus lines. Strong communication skills and detail orientation required. Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to travel within assigned territory a must. Bachelor’s degree and previous insurance educational work strongly desired.
