We seek an Accounting Manager - Canada for our Finance Group in our world headquarters in Glastonbury, CT. This position manages 1 Senior Account/Analysts in the financial statement close process of all OSI businesses located in Canada.

As the Open Solutions Accounting Manager - Canada, you will:

  • manage the monthly and quarterly financial statement close process ensuring accuracy of the results of the Canadian organization
  • review journal entries and account reconciliation
  • train and supervise staff
  • prepare and review financial reports/analysis for senior management
  • prepare/review items for external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits
  • work on a team that manages the integration of acquired entities into

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • bachelors degree in Accounting (a CPA license is a plus)
  • experience with Software Revenue Recognition desired
  • five to seven years of experience in accounting
  • strong systems skills including Excel and ERP (preferably PeopleSoft)
