Outside Sales Executive - Managed Print Specialist - B2B



Description:
Datamax of Texas, a leading Dallas/Fort Worth (D/FW) Imaging and Information Technology company is currently seeking a highly successful, business-to-business Outside Sales Executive to further enhance our Managed Print Services* Program. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Technology and works very closely with Managed Print Analyst.

This position is focused on establishing relationships with a variety of companies in the D/FW Metroplex that have local decision making authority. As such, a Managed Print Specialist will need to be skilled at initiating and establishing long-lasting, on-going relationships with executive level contacts.

A successful Managed Print Specialist must engage in heavy prospecting, qualifying, and strategizing to develop opportunities and close business. This position demands an individual that can provide creative ideas in how to reach and ultimately develop successful relationships with decision makers at the highest levels.

A Managed Print Specialist must have an authentic commitment to promote all of the core competencies of Datamax of Texas, and be able to establish successful working relationships with key internal personnel from each division as well as Executive Management. In addition, a Managed Print Specialist must be focused on improving her or his knowledge base of all aspects of selling Imaging and Information Technology Solutions; technical and otherwise.

Solutions sold may include professional services (consulting), software, hardware, maintenance agreements, etc.

*Managed Print Services (MPS)

Managed Print Services—a family of programs designed to STOP printer acquisitions, DISCOVER print environments, MANAGE print strategies and OPTIMIZE print assets.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful, consultative business-to-business outside sales experience in the managed print and/or document management (printer / multi-functional printer (MFP)) industry
  • Minimum of one (1) year of successful business-to-business outside sales experience working with Major Accounts
  • Technical expertise regarding office solutions is required; this includes hardware, software, maintenance contracts, and professional services
  • Must have exceptional communication, presentation, and problem solving skills
  • Must approach all business situations with integrity and professionalism
  • Must possess the maturity to work in a teamwork environment
  • Must have the experience and desire to work with a leading CRM
  • Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and a relatively clean driving record
