Providence is calling Business Services Representatives III!
This position provides support to Outpatient PhysicaL/Occupational Therapy clinic by coding/pricing for services rendered while maintaining ethical billing practices and meeting compliance guidelines. This position includes collecting patient balances, performing financial evaluations, timely completion of billing communication forms from Patient Financial Services, correct and minimize site-of-service related claim denials/emc rejected claims and prepare reports, coding for office visits/procedures, inpatient and outpatient hospital services, OB/GYN services, nursing facility and patient home visits. This position is also expected to interact with clinic providers to code to the highest specificity and provide appropriate coding information to providers as needed. The position also performs position of Physical and Occupational Therapy aide to meet the needs of the clinic staff and patients.

Position Specifics
This position is located at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington. This position is full time, day shift. All candidates hired into a position posted as 20 hrs/wk or more qualify for benefits.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Preferred: High school graduation or the equivalent.
Experience: One year of CPT, ICD.9 & HCPCS coding experience. Substitution: College level education which includes this coding will substitute for the experience. Preferred: One year in an outpatient therapy office setting in a position which utilized payer knowledge of basic patient financial services functions. Experience in scheduling, reception, obtaining financial authorization for services.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability: Basic computer knowledge and skills. Ability to read and write English. Detail oriented and organized with excellent customer service skills with all age groups. Knowledge of therapy coding and financial counseling.
