Plastic Engineer who works on the development of injection molds for production.



Duties & Responsibilities: Set Up and sample molds for qualification, assists in mold transfer reviews and processing, project management for new customer molds, interfaces with customer engineering and quality departments, collaborates with process engineer on testing and debugging molds, automation, inspection plus running statistical capability studies and interface with molding floor personnel on an on-going basis to consult, engineer and up-grade molding process, equipment or robotics to improve effeciency.Consult with mold room foreman. Assist in mold design concepts.Participates in molding cost analysis.Process Customer ECN's on timely basis. Performs FMEA & PPAP. Coordinate APQP meetings.

Knowledge,skills & Abilities: Auto-CAD, Pro E, SPC Mold Capability Studies, DOE, Scientific Molding, PPAP, FMEA, RJG, Paulson, Mold Flow & Statistical Process Control. Complete hands on traing for injection molding machines.
