Colorado's Rocky Mountains and only 3 hours drive from Denver. Torrington Community Hospital and Goshen Care Center is currently seeking a Manager for the Rehab Services department. The Rehab Services Manager provides management for the Rehab Services Department. This position ensures the delivery of high quality services including Inpatient, Outpatient, Home Care PT, Occupational Therapy, Massage Therapy and Herbal Therapy Services. In addition, he/she utilizes professional judgment, knowledge, and leadership to develop new methods, educate others, improve systems, and demonstrate responsibility for administrative duties in Rehab Services at the community level. The Manager collaborates with all members of the local health care team to provide quality service to our customers and proactively supports the Banner Health Mission, Values, Vision, and Brand. Pay opportunity is: $29.57 - $47.23 per hour.
Responsibilities: 1. Member of the Profession: The Rehab Services Manager is accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to Rehab Services practice. Responsible for providing excellent clinical care in multiple modalities including acting as a patient/consumer advocate and educator. 2. Continuous Quality Improvement: Creates a department-wide focus of performance improvement and quality management following Federal and State regulations. Assures Rehab Services staff maintains or acquire appropriate certifications and monitors the competency and proficiency of staff. 3. Business Practices and Systems Discipline: - Assures development and compliance with operating and capital budgets and achievement of financial performance. Invests in processes that leverage the system. Assures business practices meet internal and external compliance program requirements. Uses benchmarking information to support productivity enhancement. Responsible for participating in short and long range facility and department planning. Identifies new opportunities for business growth and development. Strives to comply with system initiatives. 4. Leadership Competencies: Exhibits behaviors consistent with the Banner Health Mission, Values, Vision, and Brand. Accountable for creating effective staff relations to support achievement of operational plans and BH vision through demonstrating mastery of leadership competencies. Coordinates and maintains staff management functions such as hiring, orientation and training, performance reviews, and coaching and facilitating staff through teams. Develops effective relationships with medical staff partners and community stakeholders. Creates an environment of Service Excellence.
Qualifications: • Education/Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in hospital based physical therapy required, preferably including Inpatient, Outpatient, and Home Care. Advanced education and management experience preferred to include, (1) supervisory experience, (2) ability to analyze, problem solve and generate positive outcomes, (3) responsible fiscal management, (4) development and performance of quality management activities, (5) ability to promote and deliver excellent customer service to patients, physicians, coworkers, and staff. This position must also have a working knowledge of regulatory standards, and reimbursement. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, to communicate within all product lines and Banner Health structures. Ability to develop and cultivate physician relationships. Other Qualifications/Certificate/License: Required: • Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy. • Wyoming Physical Therapy License • BLS
