Position Description
As an Associate Director within our organization you will have the opportunity to perform the following types of activities:
Business Development:
- Act in a management consultant role to help clients understand and solve their unique operational and technology challenges
- Seek out and develop new business while creating statements of work
- Identify client needs and tailor sales messages and benefits to our approach accordingly
- Effectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients
- Identify opportunities for sales and business development collaboration with other Ingenix business segments
Program Execution:
- Direct responsibility for large scale program execution. Large scale programs are defined as high cost, high complexity and/or high risk.
- Facilitate development of business segment and enterprise level planning and program objective setting
- Participate in senior level program funding and prioritization decision processes
- Provide strategic input to the development of program roadmap and timelines
- Create a team oriented work climate that enables professional development and encourages creative solutions and strategies
- Support the management of resources within programs
- Support program communication plan and execution
- Require that quality assurance methods are implemented within the program
- Provide status updates and review of programs to senior leadership
- Provide coaching and mentoring of project team with the goal of developing and retaining talent within the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree in computer or business related field preferred
- 10+ years enterprise project/program management experience
- 7+ years experience leading large-scale consulting engagements or large internal healthcare projects/programs
- 5+ years healthcare background with extensive healthcare operations knowledge and experience including claims, service, network, eligibility, etc.
- 5+ years working in a Big 5 or large consulting organization is preferred
- Experience developing new business and identifying add-on work
- Experience leading a team of direct reports
- Ability to travel up to 80%
- Candidates located near Minneapolis, MN or Hartford, CT are preferred
