E-commerce Site Manager



Responsible for managing a variety of eCommerce projects and operational initiatives directly support the NYCO online business. This individual will utilize a blend of project management and business analysis expertise while becoming a subject matter expert with NYCO’s eCommerce platform. Responsible for initiating and managing small data and content projects, aimed at improving site look & feel and usability.

  • Manages scope of projects, leads project revision control process.
  • Develops and maintains project schedules based on commitments from team.
  • Quickly addresses project barriers.
  • Tracks the progress of assigned projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Facilitates team communication and quick decision-making. .
  • Manage Content Coordinator and oversee website look and feel – ensure site content is brand-appropriate and products are well positioned to maximize sales
  • Develop subject matter expertise with eCommerce software platform.
  • Develop and gather business requirements for new platform and other web-related projects
  • Help develop use cases for business requirement testing. Manage user testing.
  • Manage small website content projects aimed at improving the site usability, such as changes to catalog upload or BCC functionalities
  • Manage relationship with key service suppliers (ie: ATG On Demand)
  • Monitor internal operations processes to ensure effectiveness is maintained and opportunities for increased efficiencies are exploited
  • Participate in the training of new hires

Managerial responsibilities:

  • Support eCommerce Content Coordinators
  • Manage project teams for projects in charge
  • Help train and manage junior team members in day to day tasks

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience and demonstrated results working on e-commerce website and project implementations
  • Online site and product/content system administration experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

MBA preferred
